Mom found a recipe for blackberry margaritas on pioneer women (one of her fav foodie blogs) and made it up for Cinco de Mayo along with chicken enchiladas and tamales we got at the farmers market last weekend!

We had some left over simple syrup so mom turned that into a new drink, which we liked even more than the frozen marg! Recipe below, makes 2 drinks.
In a ball jar add half cup of the blackberry simple syrup, 2 shots tequila, 1 shot triple sec, 1tsp of sugar, and half a lime squeezed. Shake. Fill up 2 glasses with ice pour half of the mix into one glass and remainder into other, add pink lemonade to fill. Take the other half of lime and cut into wedges for garnish. Enjoy!
